Ole Miss is different. And I don't appreciate you trying to lump the rest of the south together with you.

Oxford in 2013 is as liberal a campus as any in the SEC.

I don't know why you are taking offense, Midwesterner.

The only real liberal campus in the SEC resides in Nashville.

It also doesn't help that national media is already on campus this week becuase of rush. I have heard stories of journalist trying to sneak into houses as rushees because of the Bama rush debacle.

Yeah, and when they pulled the wig off Sean Hannity, he was heard to exclaim "And I would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling whores."

I've looked into it and know several people who were there and some people who actually performed.

They said that the players were on their phones, talking and laughing some but that the bit about them yelling homophobic slurs is not true in the slightest.

This is being blown WAY out of proportion even though Freeze does need to punish the players for being idiots.

Just another hack job at journalism by the Daily Mistake.

Tell me about your theater department putting on a homosexual play. Does State have a theater department?

literally every college has a large core of liberal minded people. are you trying to argue that is the majority of the campus at Ole Miss?

Most SEC campuses are fairly liberal especially Florida and Georgia.

Aggie schools generally more conservative than their flagship counterparts. Auburn and A&M are ranked among the most conservative campuses in the nation

WHIPPING BOY?! Are you fricking serious? This is why you're Ole Miss.

A whipping boy was a young boy who was assigned to a young prince and was punished when the prince misbehaved or fell behind in his schooling. Whipping boys were established in the English court during the monarchies of the 15th century and 16th centuries. Has nothing to do with slavery in early america you ignorant POS

But because I'm an ole miss fan you assumed whipping boy is derived from slavery times. Thanks for proving my point about how we're held to a different standard and under a microscope.

Why do you bring so much hate onto the campus of Ole Miss?

A)The Ku Klux Klan bullshite could have happened at literally any campus in the country and there's nothing that a public university could have done about it.

B) Anyone that believes the election night thing was a riot is a fricking idiot. One sign was burned. That is all.

C) Ole Miss is hardly the only SEC school that has fans with confederate flags at their tailgates.

Allowing those groups on campus at all is a pretty liberal stance to take.

Do you have any real experiences to add or just cliches?
