IDK about Day doing less, but Day did what #66 for Florida should have been doing. Part of the OL's job is to make sure the QB doesn't have to put up with cheap shots like that. Nasty things happen in piles, so there have to be enforcers

Just saw the new video. Ouch! Terrible look for Kash. Should be dealt with by UK coaches.

He should be suspended multiple games. We are suspending guys for unintentional targeting but this guy can intentionally try to sprain or break an ankle and he gets to play on Saturday?

100% this.

I disagree with the multiple game suspension but he should receive some form of discipline. I mean the Eastern michigan player that horse collared Terry Wilson and perhaps ended his career is still playing without any discipline.

Kash finally responded to allegations that he attempted to twist on ankle last week. He sounds very convincing.

I agree. And then, going back to watch the video again, I’m seeing exactly what he said happened.

Absent this most recent film, his explanation was very convincing and credible. However, with the new video, we can all see what everyone assumed had happened (without actually seeing it).

I am pretty surprised that WYMT, which is a eastern Kentucky mountain news (basically Kash’s hometown news) put this out to the public when they did. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be held responsible but just surprised.

So, reading your posts is giving me eye cancer due to all the italics, bold, and underlining, and brain cancer due to all the stupidity, but if I had to listen to you I'd get ear cancer on top of all that? Good grief!

Just kidding man, you're not that bad.

As dangerous as horse-collars are, there's a bit of difference about doing that as someone runs by vs. picking a dude's foot up after the play is over, cupping it, and twisting. One at least occasionally happens by accident out of panic or whatever. The other never happens by accident.

But assuming they were equivalent, how is that an excuse? We really going to start saying stuff is OK based on what others have gotten away with? That seems rational.

So they should've hid it because it paints him in a bad light?

Took a while, but you got there. Props for owning it.

I haven’t made one excuse for him at all. I was arguing that a multi-game suspension isn’t warranted when there are many other illegal plays that actually do injure people that no one would consider a multi-game suspension for.

Definitely need to remove the word “alleged” from the thread title now that we have the new video angle

Horse collar tackles are usually accidents.

I didn’t state or imply that they SHOULD have hid it. I said I was surprised they didn’t. Even more so, I’m surprised they let him publicly lie about it before releasing, making him look even worse. Just surprised.

The minority are accidents. Not considering ramifications of actions while doing, sure. But they almost always mean to grab them there when they do.
