So teams are required to inform their players what culture the other places come from?
I would deny her case. LSU didn't do shite wrong. I thought it was going to be LSU signed someone else and she didn't have a spot on the roster, but she left because she was upset someone from another country was on the team.

Good on her for making a difficult decision and sticking to her stance. I hope the NCAA grants her a release to transfer. I don't think that statement is an indictment on LSU like your OP suggests, though.

Imagine if a player asked for a waiver because they didn’t know their team would sign someone who was “insert literally any race, creed, religion, origin.” This is ridiculous. LSU signed a 17 year old Russian girls basketball player. She was like 12 or 13 when the invasion happened. This other girl is basically saying she hates a girl because of where she’s from and can’t be on the same team. In what other universe would people accept that as sympathetic?
