Hes a good DC. If your offense is pretty good he's very good.
His last 4 years here he had no offensive help so the stats look worse than they really are.
He will do well at Florida.

It seems some UK fans viewed him as being conservative.

Hope thats not the case.

Their QB was getting the ball out in 3 seconds or less lol - you're not going to pressure a QB getting the ball out that fast against that air raid type of offense

Like I said, our offense was terrible the last few years, so I think a DC has to be a bit conservative in that scenario. I think that will be different at UF.

I think he’s an excellent defensive coordinator. I would not classify him as an aggressive, defensive coordinator, but he’s good at mixing up looks and maximizing the potential on the field. You’ll be fine.

He was a very good DC for us and had some DLs and LBs that were downright nasty good in his time at Kentucky. Thought he did a good job of developing talent and mixing up looks.

IMO he was hampered at times by a complete lack of offense. There were definitely games in those years we won on our defense alone.

Our biggest complaints about him was he had a tendency to leave too much cushion in the secondary and it burned us at times. And he can definitely call a bend don't break type of game, which will also drive you a little crazy.
