That was a dirty tackle that knocked him out of the game. Hope hes gonna be okay.

I always say when playing schools of lesser talent early in the season, all I want is for players to get out of the game healthy.

UF had Toney and Henderson go down in the 1st half last night too.

Nothing yet. Likely won't hear anything until Stoops Monday press conference unless the players leak it.

Are Toney and Henderson gonna be alright?

Wilson may be done for the year. Hate it for him because you could see the improvement in his play from last year, he put in a lot of work this offseason.

Not yet, but pretty sure he will be out at least next week if sprain. Guessing his season is over though. Should know later today.

Henderson looks to have a minor ankle sprain. He may or may not play depending on severity.

Toney is getting an MRI for his wrist. Unfortunately it didn’t look good when he went down.

Smith did play pretty well last night in relief, but it would have been nice to get him an entire game against a Eastern Michigan kind of team before having to play Florida.

Pluses are that he gets a full week of reps at #1, and it's a home game.

I think we’re just waiting for them to confirm season-ending injury/long term absence with the MRI today.

There was video last night of Stoops apologizing to EMU’s HC for throwing so much late with Smith because he needed reps and said “my guy is our for the year”. When they asked him about it in the post-game presser he basically said it’s not good anytime you get the cart out and it didn’t look good.

At the very least he’s not playing against Florida.

That said, as others have said, Smith stepped in better than I thought. I think if we can sustain protection on the line he can be serviceable. We’ll really miss Wilson’s legs though.

I'm an LSU tiger living in Lexington, and married into BBN. I hate to see this for you guys! I really hope the new guy can embrace the role and keep the team on track.

Between Stoops telling EMU’s coach he’s out for the year and Terry mouthing I heard a pop going off the field there’s an excellent chance he’s out for the year.

With the way he fell I’d be surprised if it’s an ACL. I’ve seen a couple PCL tears and they were both pretty similar.

Sorry to hear the news...its tough losing a starter like that. Again, we have 2 guys down and wont know for sure the status until tomorrow perhaps. If Toney's wrist isn't broken and its just a few cracked bones...that can be fixed with a cast but probably leave him out for the UK game and Henderson's injury hopefully isn't serious as he was seen on the sideline with a walking boot with his ankle hurt.

Yeah sorry to hear about your all's injuries too. Sucks watching it happen, in such minor games too.
Here's hoping we both come out injury free next Saturday
Im still gonna do a couple trash talk threads this week, maybe thatll help lighten the mood

Yeah, we are going to get told he has some kind of ACL/MCL or similar. I'm already resigned to it.

Sucks, but the main thing now is his recovery.
