Yeah at some point they aren't flukes and gifts. It's good plays caused by good coaching an good athletes. You watch a lot of times the gator D is poking and ripping for the ball and when that happens "flukes" happen. That's like blaming an open WR due to bad coverage, it's not always bad coverage sometimes the WR just runs the better route to cause bad coverage.

Florida should bow down to Bama. Florida has no shot against the great 2012 Alabama Crimson Tide.

That's definitely part of the formula but the main prerequisite is sound defense. SC's defense played well; they gave up only 89 rushing yards vs Florida and 94 passing yards. That game is probably the most points I have ever seen scored with so little offensive production. If the UGA defense can play as well as SC's defense did, then we definitely have a chance to win but that is a big if.

Fla offense has been so bad. make them start from the 20 everytime and they simply have no prayer of scoring more than 7 points. Murray could actually vault his way back in heisman consideration this weekend. I know yall will laugh but 1 loss UGA will look a lot better after this w/e.

So you're telling us that the team who doesn't turn the ball over has a the best chance of winning?

No. Floridas turnovers are irrelevant because their offense sucks. UGA-0 Turnovers = WIN

Fla 0 turnovers tells me little except it wont be a blowout.

I'd say Bama fans are better than this but some of them are just, well, morons.

Same will happen to LSU vs Bama.

This squeaking by won't get it done.

Sadly I don't think that'll happen this week. Our defense has all american potential but they've just played like garbage most of the time. Maybe they all just thought they could rest on their accolades after all returning and are only concerned about NFL dollars..who knows.

IF, and that's a big if, they come together and FINALLY play like they're capable of then we could stonewall their offense. But what I've seen recently doesn't give me much hope of that.

UGA is soft on defense for some reason. I don't know why. I think UF will be able to run the ball. At least somewhat.

I have no idea either. Some of our run troubles are a result of Jenkins having to slide over to end, and playing more outside technique than he did last year. Abry Jones (starting DE) being out for the year damn sure doesn't help our cause there either..we'll see a lot of Ray Drew (who?) saturday I imagine.

I think you overestimate our defense. Florida had 176 rushing yards against a good LSU defense. Gillislee had 34 carries for 146 yards 2 TD's for 4.3 yard average. LSU had only 42 rushing yards in that game. The difference was the Florida defense surprisingly played better than the LSU defense.

Now I do think that Georgia's offense is better than Florida's offense so this game will be a strength vs strength and weakness vs weakness type game; probably pretty low scoring. What it will boil down to is can UGA's defense play well enough against Florida's offense to give our offense a chance to win the game. Our OL, Murray and our receivers will have to have their best game of the season for UGA to win.
