I wonder why LSU is afraid to play 2 P5 OOC in the same season like both UF and UGA do.

We're doing it next year.

Did it in 2017, 2011, 2010.....

Yes they are.

Especially considering most of those games were much closer to the teams we're playing against.

Why doesn't Florida ever leave the state?

Is this where you start making shite up out of thin air just to keep an argument going?

Or is this where you will reply with literally anything for pages and pages incessantly just so you can have the last comment?

I know you and I own you bitch.

Goodbye.

In addition to playing GT every year, UGA has played the following OOC games against P5 teams since 2000 (keep in mind, there are 20+ GT games to go with these, there not the only games UGA played)

Notre Dame (home and home)
Oklahoma State (home and home)
Arizona State (home and home)
Colorado (home and home)
Clemson (home and home twice and a neutral site)
UNC (neutral)
Oregon (neutral)

In terms of future scheduled games:

Clemson (Neutral in 2024, home and home in 2029/30, home and home in 2032/3)
UCLA (home and home in 2025/6)
Louisville (home and home in 2026/7)
FSU (home and home in 2027/8)
Ohio State (home and home in 2030/1)
NC State (home and home in 2033/4)

We also had home and homes with Texas and OU that were dropped due to them joining the conference.

Given that UGA has a P5 OOC opponent every year, their OOC scheduling is likely the best in the SEC. They have at least one P5 every year, two in most years and 3 in some seasons.

From 2001 to 2034, UGA has 63 P5 opponents either played or scheduled, and it was 69 (coming out to over 2 a season) prior to Texas and OU joining the conference wand the cancelling of UGA's 2 OOC P5 games... GT and UVA in 2020).

I'd challenge anyone to show a team doing more with scheduling in our conference.

TL/DR - UGA has been the BEST OOC scheduling team since college football went to a 12 game regular season... and it's not even all that close.

That's certainly debatable.

Also 2020 would have been GT again and UVA at a neutral site if OOC games hadn't been cancelled.

This year would have been @OU if the series hadn't been cancelled.

Since 2013 Georgia has scheduled more aggressively than any school in the country.

2005: Boise St
2006: Colorado
2007: Oklahoma St
2008: @ Arizona St
2009: @ Oklahoma St, Arizona St
2010: @ Colorado
2011: Boise St
2013: @ Clemson
2014: Clemson
2016: North Carolina
2017: @ Notre Dame
2019: Notre Dame
2020: SEC Only
2021: Clemson
2022: Oregon
2023: @ Oklahoma (cancelled)
2024: Clemson
2025: Oklahoma (canceled), @ UCLA
2026: UCLA, @ Louisville
2027: @ Florida St, Louisville
2028: Florida St
2029: @ Clemson
2030: Clemson, Ohio State
2031: @ Ohio St, @ Texas (cancelled)
2032: Texas (canceled) , Clemson
2033: @ Clemson, NC State
2034: @ NC State

I doubt you actually bothered looking at UGA’s past and future OOC schedule, because if you had, you never would’ve said something so ridiculous.

Or maybe you’re just dumb and would’ve anyways

It really isn’t. What other SEC team is scheduling games against Ohio St. & Clemson in the same season?

Not really.

63 played or scheduled OOC games from 2001-2034. 65 if 2020 OOC games had been played. UF is the only team relatively close to that number, but they aren't that close due to being less aggressive with adding to FSU in the OOC schedule once CFB went to 12 games.

I don't fault them for that. I realize that they had no way of knowing FSU would fall to being a more mediocre team when the 12 game schedule became the norm. If FSU had stayed a consistent top 5 team every year UF could argue their OOC would be better. But not with what actually happened.

Then you have to hold the rest of the SEC to the same standard and not just UF. Especially when your OOC "rival" is GT.

You are playing 3, but UF didn't schedule 3.

UCF is joining what is still considered a P5 conference... but they weren't in one when you scheduled them. So while it counts as playing a P5 team, it doesn't show any daring in scheduling. We scheduled UCF in the past 20 years but I didn't include them either. Or the couple of games against Boise State.
