Yeah man it was bad. They wouldn't even let us set our stuff down. The cop wanted everything on the other side of Jackson street but I was able to talk a little bit of sense in to him and let us set up our stuff off to the side. There were cops all over the place. They blew a whistle at 11:30 to let everyone know they could set up. Love what Michael Adams has done with the place.

Doesn't look like any away fans though

I've learned that a lot of students tailgating are stupid. Just in general. If it were me, I'd love to have yall come join up next to us and share food and beer and have a good old time. But some of those dolts out there might be all "frick LSU you aren't welcome here" so who knows. I don't know what type of reception you should expect. How many vehicles are yall bringing?
I'll talk to the guy who runs the lot I tailgate in and see if we can arrange something. To my knowledge, no visiting fans have ever parked there, but it is a party atmosphere for sure so if yall are cooking I'm sure people wouldn't mind ha.

Truck/trailer. Everyone else can park wherever and walk.

I always love tailgating with opposing teams fans. Especially LSU fans where they have good food and usually like to get pretty wild.

Bama (x2): Quad
Florida (x3): Education Building
Georgia (x1): North Campus
Tennessee (x1): G10 Parking Deck
MSU (x2): Junction
Vandy (x1): The Elementary school across from the intramural fields
Arkansas (x2): War Memorial Golf Course
TAMU (x1): Reed Arena Lot

When I went, we parked by the intramural fields. Don't park by the intramural fields.

Why would you park at the IM fields? That's like 2 miles from the stadium.

I wasn't driving. We were with UGA students too. I think they did it on purpose.
ETA: we walked down track tracks after the game. It sucked.

I'm making my first trip to Sanford for a game. Staying in Buckhead

UGA is a tough place to tailgate these days...and we've been doing it for quite a while now. There's always the school but it's a long hike to the stadium. I've given up trying to play the tailgate game with UGA's cops. Seems like they change the rules every time we go. Rather, we're going to hang with the LSU ATL alumns; think it's $25 for food/drink at New Earth Bldg. Check their website. Parking? Get there early and hole up in a parking garage. Like I said, tailgating at UGA sucks these days.

If you are traveling north on Lumpkin, past the Georgia Center (hotel) on your right is the entrance to the South Campus parking deck.
There is a little access road to the right which dead-ends at some tranformers/air conditioners?
You might be able to unload there which is 50yds from meyers. I've also seen people unloading on Sanford drive east of Meyers, but you might want to come in from the north. There are parking spaces (they will be full), but it allows a little bit of wiggle room so you are only blocking 1/2 a lane. Best bet is to try and find a south campus parking deck pass and pile everything into one truck. You will not be able to make multiple runs though, as the pass is scanned. Once you're in, that's it. You're also a good hike from downtown, and a cardiac inducing hill.
