Unfortunately, because all of the in-state scholarships I'm in line for, I'll probably be attending UGA Law School. As much as I hate UGA, I can't pass up the Scholarship money that I'm in line for. UGA has a beautiful campus and no student debt so I can't complain

Face it... You'll be all Dawg in 2 years....

Seriously tho you could do a lot worse... UGA's Law School is well respected, congrats on the scholly...

I figured out early in on high school that if I did my homework I literally didn't have to study for tests- maintian a B test averaage and do your homework = A. I was a "I'd rather have 90 than a 99 since both are an A fella

But doing your homework is studying for a test. You're practicing the required skill that you are going to be tested on.

A miss state grad with the same degree and GPA can beat out a UGA grad merely because of their interviewing skills or networking. (A specialized field is the exception). There are way too many new grads that feel entitled that they are special when in fact they are not. "You got your checkmark. Good job."

A degree from UGA carries more weight than a degree from Hampton University or tons of other schools when all things are equal.

Comparing P5 schools, not so much.

agreed on the 4+ part but the rant was about high gpa vs high score testing. That is what I was referring to, despite the small snippet I quoted

Gotcha. I will say that certain urban and rural school districts have inflated GPAs.

The dozen or so teachers that were arrested in Atlanta for grade fixing were the tip of the iceberg

Once again,WTF are you talking? The teachers in Atlanta were arrested for giving out answers to the CRCT test...which test 8th grade reading comprehension...part of no child left behind testing and advancment.Has NOTHING to do with grade fixing FOR Hope Scholarships candidates.

As usual, pulling shite out of yer arse regarding ALL things Georgia...
