You better hope Georgia holds them to fewer than 21 points, because we probably won't score 28.

Brandon Wimbush had this to say about our defense:

"I never played against a team with speed like that,” Wimbush said. “All 11 positions, all the guys were really physical and had speed. That was a little different. It’s hard to emulate that during the week, but our scout guys do the best job they can do.”

So he said UGA's defense was better than Temple's and the ND scout team?

He's too slow to get away from Roquan Smith. UGA defense is going to embarrass the fake bulldogs and we're going to pound the rock with Chubb.

Is Garntham freaking Vince Lombardi now? Their defense is overrated against a putrid LSU offense with Danny Etling and whoever else they played.

Their defense is unproven at the point because they haven't played anyone. Grantham is gonna be Grantham.

Good thing we have Chauncey Rivers on our scout team.

This is cute. Rude awakening coming.

All you need to know about how this one is going to shake out:

SECW >>>>>> SECE

The GA may run for some time adds. But then settle for fg. State has a red zone TD machine and will trade TDs for fgs. The lead will build and UGA will be forced to throw, negating any run game. Then your QB will pay with his UGAY arse

He is a lot bigger than Roquan Smith, so he will probably just go through him.

The announcers on ESPN said Orgeron thought State was 10 times tougher to play at home. I assume because of the cowbells

I am not sure why the SEC lets them get away with something that nobody else is allowed to do...especially if they want to pretend to have some elite program

That is such a tired argument that goes back 45+ years. If State wins a game, it is the cowbells that did it. Yes that cowbell blocked and tackled the LSU guys Saturday night. I was at the game and we dominated the LOS all night long. Cowbells had nothing to do with it. Plus our fans respect the League policy. They can be rung anytime until the center touches the ball. So I challenge you to listen to the difference in the crowd noise when LSU came to the LOS and the center touched the ball. I think the yelling was louder than the bells. It is a tradition that goes back to 1930's and 40's. They are loud but at the end of the day, your players win football games. The crowd helps but if you do not have talent forget it.

Now, this Saturday night at Joega we will be heavy underdawgs and nobody gives us a chance to win. The crowd will be loud the UGA dawgs and rightfully so. I am glad to see the UGA fans seem to think this will be a walk in the park for the Athens Dogs. It might be but we will find out Saturday evening.
Go MState Dawgs!!!!

We've held our opponents to a combined 3 touchdowns, and one of those was against walk-ons and first time players.

Georgia may win, but just because you've beaten three non-power 5 opponents (sorry Notre Dame, it's true) doesn't mean shoot. LSU stunk up the place, but Miss St is a damn good team.

I really hope that this is the kind of running your team is preparing for. Shows how many times you've watched him play.

He regularly pulls away from DBs in the open field. He just looks slower than he actually is because he is so damn big.

Mullen gave him a good support staff to work with, which I am sure helps. He didn't have that at UGA.

Maybe against lesser teams but he's not pulling away from anyone on our defense, I can promise you that. He's gonna be frustrated all day. He was 3-star trash coming out of high school and he's about to step into something he hasn't seen yet.

He does run with his head straight up. I am not sure he will have a lot of luck against Carter and Bellamy doing that but we will all see on Saturday for sure. I believe we have the hawks to spy him and make him throw the ball.
