how do you not get this? Every UGA fan has been saying this the last 8 months. Our defense will be good, and by the end of the year could be real good, but will have some growing pains early. This isn't news.
Our offense can/should actually be better than last year.

I get it but just getting some input from you. No need to be defensive bro. Dawgs are going to be a great team. As such, I'd like to believe their defense will be solid (nothing's perfect, true especially at the beginning of the season) but coming out of the gate they should be able to handle a team like LSU which, let's be honest, hasn't been an offensive juggernaut in a while.

giving up 7 points or less against any SEC team is a solid feat though, especially a big6 team. I don't think our defense is lousy if we give up ~17+ to LSU. I do believe we will easily outscore them though and win by double digits. Their defense is very good but so is our offense, and I don't think their offense will best our defense nearly enough to win.
Also this will be game 7 so our young defense should be getting its legs by then.

I didn't say they wouldn't be ready, I said LSU will likely score more than 7. I mean giving up more than 7 points in a game on the road doesn't mean your defense sucks.
