Maybe. Maybe not. I mean those 2 minutes changed the strategy of the rest of the game. For both teams.

Correct, you can speculate that it would have been a better game because it would have still been close coming out of the halftime, but you can't say that something similar wouldn't have happened at the start of the 3rd quarter. We didn't just give them those plays, they made them. Got to credit UGa for that.

Last few weeks we were told our defense was overrated and it would be exposed when we played an elite offense....like Arkansas...then Kentucky....then Florida....

Now we are going to be exposed by an elite defense? I wish you people would make up your minds.

Personally Florida's defense played lights out. It was your offense that let you down.

And why would you expect to take a shot at our team and fans just fall in line and say "Okay"? because we defend our team all year long we are delusional?

Honest question. Who in the country has an elite defense?

It means exactly what applies to you, and yours. Perhaps you should get the old Webster out, and educate yourself.

Agreed. I mean, Florida was playing great. If not for those plays the game could have gone the other way in Florida's favor. Or Georgia might have put Daniels in and he blew the game open. Nobody knows. The only thing we can go by is what happened. It was just not going Florida's way yesterday. It shows just how quickly things can snowball and get away from anybody and change an entire game.

Yep. Georgia is a great team and capitalizes on mistakes like great teams do. I am not disagreeing with the OP and he is right, things could have been different if those things didn't happen. But they did happen, and it was because of Georgia's great play moreso than Florida's bad play. Got to give them credit for making great plays.

I don't believe in the what ifs. All the plays that happen in a game, including a "disastrous 2 minutes, are what makes a ball game.

I mean I could say if Georgia doesn't give up that TD on 2nd and 26 they would have won the national championship. Thing is, they did give it up and Alabama won. Once again, part of the ball game

Florida lost 7-34 and history will never record it any different.

Has anyone else stopped to think that if it weren't for a disasterous 2 minutes, by UF, right before halftime that this would have been a 13-7 finish ?

Is that you Auburn? It sure sounds like you.

Were you not here last night to see their outrageous melt after they won the game They're all nuts, but in their defense they have 1980 reasons to be crazy.

We are all here to see yours. Odd that you even care about a game that did not involve your team. Then you comment on fans acting a certain way seems even more strange after the way LSU fans acted in and after 2019.

You still post about players in the NFL that played on that team. I hate to tell you this but your team went .500 in 2020 and you are looking much the same in 2021. But hey.....pandemic and all so last year never happened.

Defense is part of the team too. It’s dumb to pretend that offense is the only thing that matters in a game.

Also JT Daniels and all WRs for the most part will be back before we play a team that will require a high powered offense.

Yes, Florida was the better of the two teams yesterday and should've blown us out.

This was a good outcome for UGA. Our defense dominated the game and our offense was disjointed for most of the game. I think it shows Kirby that Stetson Bennett, while a damn good dawg and a serviceable QB in a pinch, isn’t the answer at QB. JT Daniels needs to be the QB going forward and yesterday showed that.

I have no inside knowledge whatsoever, but I do not see any logical reason why JTD wouldn't haven't gotten snaps late in second half if he was healthy enough. This leads to think he was dressed out for show as much as anything.

I think JT would have been brought in, if not for that scoring flurry.

I like Stetson, but his accuracy on the long balls is weak.
