Would be a solid hire. I have been wanting to see what he could do in the SEC.
Hopefully we can get our rivalry cranked back up and face each other in Atl. 8 out of the next 10-12 years.

Big talk about a guy who's never coached in the SEC. Time will tell just how good a hire Kelly will be playing with teams where Defense is what generally wins championships. All the razzle dazzle in the world can't beat a lock down defense on most days. Fact is, if the Chief can out scheme Chip...well, enuff said. Remember Kelly was big back in the day where Oregon was one of the first teams to push tempo. Now lots of teams do so. Nothing new & teams are conditioned and prepared to handle it. Time will tell, of course.

Miles and the Chief are good coaches. Both have won national champions. 2011 LSU was one of the best teams ever.

You mean besides the 60's, with notable bowl apperences and the 80's, were we were National Champs on the field in 1985, and conference champs as well two other years but probation kept us from getting the year put on the wall. You seem very scared bro. I would be too. ED O vs Kelly...it's not even a fair match up.

Update: It's seeming that Kelly's cost was lower because of his NFL deals, but he expects a large amount set aside for him to bring in the coaches of his choosing.
I'm assuming that means Helfrich is coming or Day as OC. DC I really want Chizik but will see where he goes with that.
