About as big as a mid season series can get. UF needs it to keep pace with SC & Vandy.

A nice little write up on UF after dropping last weekebd's series. LINK /

If you didn't catch the other thread. Friday starter Jace Vines will not be starting due to an illness but he was later cleared to travel to UF and could pitch later on in the series.

Also worth noting, Puk has been moved to Sunday after being a little up & down this year.

SCHEDULE:
FRIDAY: 6:00 PM
SATURDAY: 6:32 PM
SUNDAY: 1:02 PM

PROBABLE PITCHING MATCHUPS:
FRIDAY: Tyler Ivey (Fr., RHP, 2-0, 1.97 ERA) v Logan Shore (Jr., RHP, 5-0, 2.89 ERA)
SATURDAY: Kyle Simonds (Sr., RHP, 5-0, 2.83 ERA) v Alex Faedo (So., RHP, 5-0, 2.70 ERA)
SUNDAY: TBA v A.J. Puk (Jr., RHP, 1-2, 3.49 ERA)

TV:
FRIDAY: SECN+
SATURDAY: ESPNU & SECN+
SUNDAY: ESPNU & SECN+

RANDOM NOTES:
- A&M leads the all time series 9-2
- No. 1 Texas A&M is the highest ranked opponent to visit Gainesville for a weekend series since No. 2 Miami from Feb. 18-20, 2005. UF took 2/3 in that series.
- Kevin O'Sullivan has a 5-1 (.833) mark against No. 1 teams, most recently a 2-1 triumph over LSU on May 23, 2015, in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament.

#1 A&M vs #1 UF

Let me guess, UF is the real #1 and Farmer disagrees with the polls so he put aTm #1 too.

Actually, a majority of the polls have A&M #1.

I was looking forward to riding off into the sunset on that illness excuse, but I'll take the win if he is up for the task.

Pretty much the opposite.

A&M is #1 in most of the polls, but most Ags think we're going to probably lose the series.

This whole hedging when we're good needs to stop. UF is super talented and very good. We may lose or we may win. But we're pretty salty too. I don't know of any odds makers for college baseball but if I had to guess the series would be something like UF -200. A favorite but not anything crazy.

A&M is #1 in 4 polls, UF in 2. You should probably quit guessing.

Vandy fans had to break through this mindset in baseball as well.

Whoever wins today wins the series, imo.

Isn't that the case with the large majority of series?

#Leggo

I don't have any feeling one way or the other for how this will go. Best matchup of the season yet, though. At least for UF.

Let me guess, you disagree with PG like you did in every one of your posts last year when they didn't have aTm #1?

Nice job making it to Omaha btw.

Such a sad obsessed little guy. 1 post from over a year ago still rustles you.

You got it. Done trolling, but 2 #1's looks stupid. Leave it up to aggy for the moral victories.

It was literally every week, but it's still funny how you were dead wrong in hindsight.

You are terrible at it, talk about the matchup or move along, this is a game thread not an offseason thread, just because LSU sucks at baseball this year, doesnt mean you just clicking around trolling good teams is acceptable.
