Gator fans were Pasadena or bust. They don't care about playing Cinci.

Cinci = no coach.
Cinci = undefeated.
Cinci = wants to be in Pasadena as well.

Yeah, in the gator fans defense, they have played in two NCG's recently. Not sure why they are not going to the sugar though. I know its a let down but if you were planning to travel to Cali, you can get to N.O.

If it were someone other than Cincy, they may travel better.

This is true.

+1. 8 Hour drive isn't that far if a plane ticket costs too much.

+1 again, but I'm sure undefeated UC feels the same way.

I am an SEC guy but please stop making excuses before you even play the game...oh we were suppose to be in the BCS Championship game. You got your asses beat by Bamma so guess what you DON'T BELONG IN THE BCSC Game. So stop making excuses already. You were good but not all that. Remember Arkansas should have beaten you guys. So stop making excuses and go make the SEC Proud.

There is a difference in Florida and Cincy as far as wanting to be in Pasadena. For Florida, it was Pasadena or bust since they won the NC last year and Tebow said he was coming back. If you told Cincy before the season that they'd be playing in the Sugar Bowl, they'd take it in a heartbeat.

You have to also take in the fact that their fans have spent a lot of $$$ the past 3 seasons with BCS Bowl games and SEC Title games and with a "letdown" Sugar Bowl appearance against a Cincy team it's understandable why they have a weak following

Yes, Nick was right. I am totally at fault for our showing against Utah last year.

If you believe that you need your head examined. Fan support helps but to say it was the reason for the blowout last year in the sugar bowl was laughable.

I bought plane tickets to Pasadena a couple of months ago plus hotel. I was able to cancel my hotel but I had to eat the plane tickets and turn around and buy more to NO for the family. On top of that the tickets were priced high and not in good parts of the dome. I just got my tickets yesterday and not from the university.

There may be a bunch of folks driving up tomorrow. We'll see.

Just throwing this theory out there: Maybe the reason why there aren't a frickload of Florida fans there is because only the ones who are going to the game or are going to try to get into the game decided to show up. This game gives Cincinnati fans a chance to get into a far better climate than what their home is probably like, while Florida fans are already enjoying the warmth of home and if they aren't going to the game, then they have no need to go to New Orleans. Just something to think about.

Good point. I also think there will be a good bit of Gator fans like our friend GatorNation who are hopping on I-10 west tomorrow morning instead of spending the $$$ for 3+ days in NOLA. Growing up in south MS I've seen plenty of times firsthand how quickly a weekend down there will drrrain the bank account.

Having said that, GO Gatah

Besides, why not celebrate New Year's Eve at home with friends and family and be in the safety of your own home getting fricked up rather than dealing with assholes from another state?

well, they all must be in NO. when was the last time they earned a BCS bowl? that's right, never. and it may never happen again. plus, NO is warmer, no snow and it's a cheap flight.

What an epic, epic fail.

Here's a hint: The last BCS bowl Cincy played in was in the year that ended just a few hours ago.

I got two tickets for far less than the price of one, in a decent section of the dome at that. Just saying...

Hotels are selling tickets to the game. Not sure if that's the norm, but it is the first time ive seen it. There are way more CincyWhatsky fans here, which is understandable...but not really. Florida is spoiled. Gators support your team and one of the most distinguished men to grace the Southeastern Conference.

True. But, it's not like they weren't in the BCS last year.
