Do the UF fans expect him to lock down either obj or Landry? Or are any of you realistic? Y'all really think he won't make a couple freshman mistakes against our passing game?
Y'all think he's better right now than white or verrett from tcu who are in the top the rounds in every mock on earth?
Landry and beckham abused the tcu corners.
This kid is great. I haven hardly seen any UF games though, and I wasn't watching him specifically when I did.
Does he usually lock down the number 1?

He has locked down every receiver he has covered. Period.
He hasn't played against anyone as good as OBJ or Landry, so it'll be interesting to see how he does.
He is the best freshmen football player I have ever seen.
That being said, one man doesn't make a secondary. Purifoy, Roberson, Poole, Watkins, Maye, Gorman, and Riggs will be all over the place as well.
What UF will do, I am certain, is be physical all day long with LSU's talented WR's. I would be surprised if UF doesn't have a lot of PI's penalties in this game.

He hasn't made a freshman mistake all year. Literally not one that I've seen. If he gets beat he gets beat, but I don't think you'll be seeing any freshman mistakes.

The thing is UF has more than just Hargreaves.
Roberson is a lockdown corner when healthy.
Purifoy is a bigger version of HB7 minus the PR/KR impact, he almost singlehandedly beat SCar last year.
Poole is a very physical CB, covers very well.
Riggs and Watkins have started at CB, so they can cover WRs at safety, but they are physical enough to make tackles in the run game.
Add Hargreaves in the mix and UF has 6 guys who are starters at CB on most other teams in the SEC.

I don't know who he is going to cover, but I do know that I don't expect any freshmen mistakes. The kid has solid fundamentals, and studies film like crazy.
VHIII wasn't an early enrollee. He came to Gainesville after HS graduation. He is the son of a football coach.
He is arguable as good as JJ, or Haden when they left UF, and possibly better. He wears number 1 for a reason, he is special, and an unbelievable talent.
