That's all I'm saying. This is a pretty unprecedented thing for UF in the middle of football season. This isn't just a tropical storm. This thing is bringing 120+mph winds and a ton of rain somewhere over the next few days.

I'm sure this is a dumb question and I know the answer to it deep down, but if they play in Baton Rouge this weekend, will they have the game in Gainesville next year? Three straight games in Baton Rouge is not fair.

3 Straight in Baton Rogue would be bullshite. Since this is an annual series we should just flip next years game to a Florida home game.
That's not going to happen.

No, it would suck, but it would still be in BR.

This would still be a Florida "home" game just like it was last year for USC and you would get the gate. LSU shouldn't lose next years revenue because the game couldn't be played in your home stadium.

If it gets that close. That is the problem with making plans around a storm like this too early, proximity makes all of the difference. It's the weak side of the storm.

A Florida home game technically but you and I both know there's a huge difference in a home game at your true home stadium on your own home campus and a home game in Baton Rouge with 60,000 people there and 45k+ are LSU fans.
Playing this game in Baton Rouge is bullshite. Straight bullshite.

These games are last minute things man. If this game gets moved to tiger stadium I know a ton of people that simply can't make it this weekend on short notice. Otherwise they'd be there. Plus the students are on fall break and going home to see family. It's not gonna be close to capacity. Just the way it is.
If the students go home to see their mommies then they're a bunch of freaking pansies. Just calling a spade a spade here, sorry y'all have so many excuses for our overrated fanbase. We all have plans for this weekend I'm sure, as did the USC game. But if the game gets moved to BR you better believe I'm dropping my plans to go to the game and will support the team and Coach O. Just the way it is.

Ucf Tulane was postponed. Gotta think they'll do something with the LSU game now. Either play in BR or move it.
What about Tampa? Ray J won't work because of USF but maybe the Trop in St Pete?
LSU and Florida do not share bye weeks. You also have the issue of the SECCG being the week after the regular season ends. Then you have a the CFP selections happening right after conference championship games. They are going to have to decide where to play the game this weekend or cancel it altogether

The "weak side" doesn't apply here like it usually does since the east side will be sitting over water being constantly fed. If the eye skirts the coast that's the worst case scenario for Florida at this point. That pretty much ensures maximum damage.

Deal.

Except for the half full stadium.

If this game was in Baton Rouge and there was a hurricane coming you would want to do everything to keep the game from going to Gainesville.
You'd be pissed if you were in our shoes.

Probably won't even be 60K so LSU doesn't get the advantage of having it's home game either. Find another place to play if you can.

This already happened to LSU in 05. It sucked but it is what it is.

I'd like to play it in Tallahassee at FSU or maybe even Auburn. Do they have a home game this weekend?
