Not really, he missed on those pitches and got a gift from the ump. That is horrible.

Both those pitches were well off the plate, especially the curveball. You can tell this umpire is really into himself and his strikeout call.

Gonna be hard for State to get back in it with that strike zone. Working the count has been big for State on their run.

This. I could tell that with the first time I saw him ring one up looking. He did a long drawn out pull in which he turned to the side and really got into it. That shows he likes to show out. We better get that same wide zone now.
