That's what UCLA considers a mash. So frustrating.

Second inning up by one and squaring around to bunt. Congrats on the excitement NCAA. Enjoy your 2-1 championship games.

Agree. The ball park is WAY too big and the bats are as close to wood as you can get. This isn't the big leagues.

I heard during commercial breaks, Wes Ray runs over to the farm past right field and chows down on an eggplant.

there may be one thousand UCLA fans who would be happy if they won it all. People from LA don't follow college sports that much. When a team from 1500+ miles away can outnumber your own fanbase (this almost happened at the UCLA regional) you have no fanbase. All tourney UCLA has had their pocket of fans a handful of fans spread around while other teams had a pretty good showing all over the place. (LSU dominating the two games they played with fan base)

It's entirely a fricking mind game with UCLA. You have to be able to not allow them to get in your head. They make you play uptight with what they do.

Just gotta buck up come at them and play loose. Easier said than done.

UCLA wouldn't have won in any other era of baseball other than the dead bat era. If you add a small amount of offense to baseball UCLA may not win it again.
