I really enjoyed not having the bottom line during the games. The update in the right corner 2x an hour is perfect.
It felt like a call back to late 90’s football.

I enjoyed not having it as well, but I wonder if it’d be better to have the score bug on the bottom of the screen instead of floating near the bottom.

Why not just dim the score bug just before the snap? Have it up when there is no action.
It’s not like, after last night, anyone needs to know how much time is on the clock.

Actually I agree with you, but back then we didn't have replay review and things didn't get processed down to the micro-second. So for them to put that second back on the clock was really out of the ordinary.
