I’ll give Drinkwitz some credit, he admitted what he was doing wasn’t working and would turn it over to his OC and turn his attention to HC responsibilities.

Hiring Petrino is a big move for Jimbo, and is a step in the right direction.
And if Jimbo blows it with Petrino, then he’ll lose support from the alumni. Simple as that.
We’ll have to see what unfolds, but if they work together then they can both benefit big time - and win a lot of games.

it's about control. the moment ole bobby calls something that doesn't work, jimbo will intervene thinking his is better.
