Wow. More Bama love in New York than Notre Dame. Shocking.

Map makes a lot of sense when you think about it, geographically.
Hawaii and Washington pulling for Bama cuz of Tua.
Clemson is not a national brand so very little support outside of South Carolina.
Notre Dame is a brand but people hate them.
OU is the team people with no major interest are gonna pull for by default.

Why in the frick is Louisiana rooting for Bama?
Aren't LSU fans constantly angry about all the sidewalk Bama fans they have to put up with in Louisiana?

I don’t think it’s valid.

Not in New York and Chicago.
I don't believe for one second that more people in New York and Illinois are for Alabama.

Out-of-state students from there

Most people in SC are definitely not rooting for the sheep humping sister bangers to win the title so Twitter is wrong, as usual.

They never asked for my opinion

because while Alabama is probably the most hated out of state school in the state (by # of people that hate Alabama), they are the most loved out of state school in the state as well. We have a ton of bandwagon fans in Louisiana, and there are a ton of football fans in Louisiana that still love coach Saban and loathe coach O
despite what I'd love to believe about your fanbase, the portion that posts here are the fringe lunatics. I know die hard lsu fans that love coach saban. The Alabama hatred is strong but it isn't unanimous among LSU fans

Although the map shows which team has the "most" support in each state, it certainly doesn't measure the *level* of support. We in the SEC likely have more Alabama fans living in each SEC state (except Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas) than Oklahoma fans.
This is way over the heads of most on the Rant

That's great for OU, but compare the map of 4* and 5* football recruits
Looks like advantage: Bama and even Clemson

Just shows how many stupid people are on twitter

I have a hard time believing Illinois is more Bama than ND.
That was the one that jumped out to me. No way is that true. Chicago is ND's home city.
I can buy that most of the country wants to see us lose.

Chicago and South Bend aren't even in the same time zone.

Bama has replaced ND as America's team.
Cowboys-Yankees-Bama
But in all seriousness, outside of Birmingham and Atlanta, New York has the largest Alabama alumni base.

I seriously doubt only four states are rooting for notre dame

When I lived in the Chicago area, few people from the city really cared about college football and those that did were Illini.
