Last year was a win for LSU. Congratulations. It was a good win... a solid win, and no less on the way to the national championship. All credit to LSU for winning the head-to-head matchup. BUT - the game wasn't in doubt until the final minute of the game. In no way could a one-score closely contested win like that could that have been considered an arse-kicking.

At this point, LSU would be best served by actually WANTING Bama to win the national championship, because then... you could at least say "We got beat by the best team in college football and the national champions." We said that last year, because it was true, it did happen. At no point have you ever heard a true Bama fan say "We got our asses kicked." Because that didn't happen.

Now, 55-17... THAT'S an arse-kicking. The score backs it up, the stats back it up, the headlines back it up, and frankly, you know it in your skeevy little heart.
