Well, many of us were hoping you were just upset and would reconsider. I'm glad you're back.

Thanks for the reminder that no one cares about LSU.

If people are supposed to stay home, why would you have a sign made to put in your front yard?

Why can't people just have a good laugh instead of getting all hot and bothered?

Looks like a park to me, thus the City of Tuscaloosa logo.

It wasn't funny.

Why can't you just have a good laugh at my response?

No one is hot and bothered.

When people talk shite, the usual response is to reciprocate. No need to be so serious. Just having some fun.

Sorry. I'm not up to specs on the uses of the T-town logo. Change front yard to park and then answer the question.

No, no.

Economically speaking, that money doesn’t leave the University.

Yes. I was born in Tuscaloosa and finished my undergrad and graduate studies in Tuscaloosa.

You chose to live in Memphis. These two are not the same. Memphis is a comparative dump, and no amount of Elvis will change that.

Not so much. Where I chose to live is where I’ve been living, and that’s not Memphis, which is still better than the Tuscaloosa where you grew up

I wonder what would happen to someone around here if they said the best thing to happen to Louisiana was Katrina. Regardless of your poor troll attempt, it's partially true. Tuscaloosa looks completely different than it did 10 years ago, and that's certainly a good thing.

Alabama projected to have highest death rate, fourth most coronavirus deaths in nation

quote:

No one knows what will happen in the coming weeks and months of the coronavirus pandemic. Alabama has already seen more than 1,500 confirmed cases of the virus and 26 confirmed deaths.

But some estimates predict a more dire situation here, as a recent epidemiological model shows Alabama could have the highest per capita death rate in the country, and the fourth highest total death count.

Scary stuff. Last data I saw through Friday: Louisiana has administered over 53,000 tests with AL administering around 9,000. Like ours, AL's positive number is going to increase dramatically as testing ramps up.

ETA: 53,645 tests for LA, 9,619 tests for AL done through 4/3.
