Damn I like Butler. If Pope had given him five more minutes I think UK wins. But I guess foul trouble plus his ankle prohibitied that.

To respond, just saw a stat:
Butler was +19 and played 19 minutes. Kentucky was -23 in the 21 minutes he was on the bench.
The backup PG was a dumpster fire.

A lot of questions raised about this team tonight. Hopefully it’s a rarity and not the norm. Sweet 16 ceiling most likely.

I really don’t understand the substitutions. Obviously foul trouble played a role but krisa and garrison were atrocious

Dykes during that review at the end used the phrase, “the right pinky on the left hand.” I don’t know what the hell that was supposed to mean.

I mean, I understood rotating bigs with how physical the game was down low. But yeah, I didn’t get Butler only playing 19 minutes. I know he rolled his ankle but I’d wager he’s done that so many times as a basketball player that it probably didn’t impact him that much once he walked it off.

Yep, Kriisa is only good in short spurts. Injuries are a part of the game tho. Butler didn't look the same when he came back.
