Worse decision in auburn athletic history getting rid of him. They should have followed in the footsteps of their big brothers and let a Arkansan build them to a dynasty.

Mentions gus...tries to align self with alabama. You're following the arky posting formula, but something's missing.

Not really, what has he done at Cincinnati and Texas Tech?

At the time of Auburn getting rid of Tommy Tuberville, the game had started to pass him over. He took too many risks with players that wouldn't qualify and he was lazy on the recruiting trail, and you can't do that with Nick Saban in the same state.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for everything he did for Auburn, but Auburn made the right move. Since he left, Auburn has a National Championship and 2 SEC Championships. Auburn hasn't won as consistently, but they have won big when they did win.

It took a shorter time for the game to pass over gene, and it's looking like Gus isn't to far from being passed over.

if that's true you can expect him to be replaced.

We don't sit idly by and let a coach go 0fer in the sec and talk about how great he's doing.

Gene Chizik was a mediocre head coach that hit a homerun because of the combination of Gus Malzahn and Cam Newton. Gus Malzahn brought in playmakers that fit an already senior-lead team, and the rest if history. Gene Chizik also lost control of the team, and that lead to his downfall.

For one bad season? What about his season at Arkansas State? SEC Championshp at Auburn? 8 win season at Auburn? It'd be fair to say if he left Auburn and wasn't able to win anywhere else, but he's 4-2 right now and Auburn is looking better and better every week.

Tommy Tuberville left Auburn for Texas Tech, now Cincinnati, and hasn't posted good results. His defenses are bad, and that was always his specialty.

This is what Arkansas standards are all about.

Tuberville lost 4 or more games 7/10 years at Auburn at a time when Francoine, Shula, Ogre, Nutt, and Croom were strolling the sidelines.

Fun Fact of the Day: Gus Malzahan has more SEC Championships in three years than Arkansas has in 24 years.

Best team money could buy that year, anybody could win one with the payroll they had. How's gene's coaching career since he left auburn, he's so bad nobody will pick him up... Lol auburn fans are calling tubervilles defense bad, guess they don't watch their games when auburn is on defense

You'd think with all that walmart money that Arkansas could buy themselves one too

The bitterness has come to a head.

Are you mad that Arkansas can't win an SEC Championship, and Auburn has had two coaches from the state of Arkansas do so?

I'll say this for Auburn, they damn sure won't sit back and pay a HC +$4mm/yr and watch him field a team that can only muster up 3 SEC wins in 3 (THREE) freaking years.
