Receivers can't hold on to the ball! Draft D.Smith(Smitty)from Bama or J. Waddle. T. Marshall of the tiggers will do, too!

Serious question, has a 1st round pick nfl qb ever had less than 100 yrds in their first career start when playing the entire game?

Eli Manning had a pretty terrible first game if I remember correctly. But that’s off the top of my head. I don’t actually remember the stat line.

The wildcat has not worked since Darren McFadden left Arkansas. You gain one extra blocker while losing any element of surprise. You can't tell an NFL defense exactly what you are going to do and expect it to work.

He had a bad game but 162 yards
Everything looks like it’s moving fast for Tua to me

TD Joe Burrow.
Bengals lead Henry’s Titans 24-7.

I think it’s a good experience for him nonetheless. It’s about what I expected against the rams after a career threatening injury.
But you’re just being a troll if you don’t think Chan is just calling a horrible game.

Jamarcus Russel was 7/23 for 83 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT, and 1 Fumble in the first game he finished. He came in during the 2nd quarter though.

I don’t think the Miami offense had that much time of possession in the first half. Didn’t they also have short fields due to LA turnovers?

Oh okay so not relevant at all then?

You have a perfect storm affecting Tua's stats right now.
1. A Dolphins fumble return for TD, punt return for TD, and another fumble return to the 1 yard line took 3 possessions away from Tua.
2. He has played with a big lead all game so the playcalling has been extremely conservative.
3. Aaron Donald is destroying the Miami OL.
4. Another two drives were killed with horrible wildcat plays.
Tua and conservative playcalling do not mix well. He has not looked comfortable trying to throw these quick 5 yard passes. If the OC thinks that is what will give him confidence, he is wrong. I think the playcalling is mostly due to the big lead though.
Bottom line, Tua has not looked very good, but his team is winning 28-10 and there are plenty of reasons why his stats are limited.

Tua has had some bad throws not setting his feet for sure in this game.
But god damn Gailey’s play calling reminds me of 2017 when Jalen Hurts was the QB for Alabama. Just pussy play calling.

OT but Henry, Harris & Jacobs all have over 100 yds rushing today :)

Miami wins in spite of tua

Good grief, we got some good RB’s in the league.

Sure...
Joe Burrow with another TD!
Burrow’s Bengals lead Henry’s Titans 31-14.
Burrow:
25/36 (70%)
234 yards
2 TDs
0 turnovers
4 TD’s on the last 5 drives! That’s how you lead an offense!
ETA: Joe Burrow is without 4/5 offensive linemen and his star RB Joe Mixon. No excuses.

I mean it is 3rd and 14 and the play call is a 3 yard slant. That tells you everything. Goff is playing so bad that there is no way to evaluate Tua from this game. They have no fear of a Goff comeback so they aren't going to take any chance of losing the big lead from a bad play from their rookie QB. I think they are just happy to escape the Rams with a win and develop Tua next week against the Cardinals defense. And that is probably a good idea.

Glad to see burrow doing well. I doubt they catch the dolphins in the standings though
