Good looking stats. Now if the Big12 fielded a defense that could stop a Pop Warner team, I'd be really impressed.

To be fair they scored 45 on an SEC caliber defense last year in the rose bowl in regulation

Not with Murray at QB...

GTFO of the the Rant with your silly statistics and shite!

Yeah well anyone who subscribes to the raw numbers as the end all shows their idiocy...so let's just forget that Tua had Bama so far ahead in most games he didn't even play on the 4th quarter in most and sometimes barely into the 3rd quarter. He also played in a league which generally has a semblance of a defense unlike the Big 12. That's like crowing about UCFs undefeated record. WTF is wrong with you? Why not just post a post that says...Hey everyone, I am just going to run my biased mouth with no logic to back my opinion...

I think Tua and Kyler are two of the best candidates in recent memory

I do not disagree. To me, there is a major difference between the 2... Tua is humble and all about the team. Kyler is not humble and all about himself.

how is that a knock on Murray? He has put up better (or equal) stats. He doesn't choose who he plays.

And yet people knocked Alabama for the schedule.
And yet people knocked Tua for the fact his team's ability to play defense.

Yeah, it's not a "knock" on Murray. It's a, "Hey, context is good". Otherwise Hawaii's QB should win the Heisman every year.

I think that both are great players, and if Murray won, it wouldn't bother me. Helluva player, seems like a good kid.

If Tua doesn't win it this year, he will next year.

Now all of you who are pouting look at Kyler rushing yards and tds rushing ... end of story.... Kyler leads in every category except Ints and efficiency.

Also Big 12 offensive player of the year award in the bag.

Kyler rushing 850 yards 11 tds.... total tds 48.
Tua rushing 211 yards 5 tds, total tds 41

If tds matter he loses here also.

I got all night to prove you scumbags wrong ....

You did read that the stats quoted excluded 4th quarter stats, right?

So the whole point of your dumbass post is completely wrong.

Frick Bama.

One actually plays against defenses.

Winning is a combination of defense and offense. Bama being undefeated is only partly because of Tua. This is one thing that shouldn’t have priority over someone who has lesser talent on defense, or whatever position. Fact is with a Murray OU has a historic offense and hopefully voters will see that even though OUs defense is horrible Kyler alone makes this team elite.

I only included the 4 quarter to show you he doesn’t lead in many categories overall. Unfortunately for everyone here 4th quarter stats do count and will.

Throwing to wide open WRs and running past people who cannot tackle my grandmother isn't terribly impressive. The Big 12 has defenses worse than most G5 conferences. He'd put up similar numbers in CUSA because he'd out athlete everyone. In the SEC... Eh, not so much.

I could only imagine the stats Kyler would have if OU had Bamas defense..... think about that for a moment and don’t be a homer.

Slider would get hurt in the SEC. Like he did when he played here.

I was not replying to you. Your post is fine. You may need to adjust future posts to account for the poor reading comprehension of many Bama fans.
