This should be moved to its proper place on the political board. The rant is for football.

Stop crying bigot, it's just an undocumented thread.

Georgia is a statistically tied battleground state with lots of electoral votes. Alabama is a pure red state with much fewer electoral votes.

Trump is rooting for the Dawgs.

Attending a highly media hyped game in a deep red state where he has zero connection. I mean I don’t really care but it’s absolutely a publicity stunt although Trump is hardly the first politician to do something like this

Yeah, I mean, accusing *any* given politician of a publicity stunt is ludicrous. If you’ve spent even a single evening at your fricking town council meeting you’d have the sense to realize it’s part and parcel of that kind.

It’s bad enough when the president or former one comes to a major town on a weekend I can’t imagine the shite storm of traffic that’s going to be happening down in Tuscaloosa in two weeks

woulnd't this make that the opposite of a publiciyt stunt? Seems like a true publicity stunt would be going to a deep blue or purple state to get the locals to say "hey, he likes the same stuff we do! He's one of us! Cool!" Going to a place where 95% of the people are alrady voting for him is like the polar opposite of a publcity stunt.

Not to mention he has previously attneded UGA and alabama football games in the past. In addiition to plenty of other sporting events. Oh and there is that whole pesky "used to own a profesional football team" thing. Perhaps, just MAYBE, he wants to watch a kickass cfb game live?

The man likes sports. In his mind, Bama vs UGA is game of the year - he's probably not keeping up with every damn detail like we do. He's kinda running for president as a side hobby.

Eh both would be, Trump just trying to rally up his base which he knows will absolutely be there.

Maybe 15 years ago but America has become hyper partisan so something like this is unlikely to move the needle

He could have gone to Texas vs Michigan or any top tier matchups. Theres a reason Trump seems to only go to matchups involving SEC teams or in red states.

So in reality you're upset because it's Trump.

Suck a dick commie.
Yeah, I'd be just thrilled to wait in line for an extra hour so Kamala Harris could sit in a luxury box to watch a game she doesn't give a rat's behind about as a stopover on her political campaign.

You got me.
