I guess I should have been more specific. A moment of silence before kickoff or at halftime is all I'm talking about. Nothing over the top. I know this is the rant but seeing all those downvotes is a head scratcher.

We rarely have any moment of silence for the death of any own former player, fans, etc., yet you think we should have a moment of silence for an Auburn fan Finebaum caller?

Yes, I do. I thought I made that pretty clear in the OP.

What would justify a moment of silence if this doesn't?

Auburn had a moment of silence before the 2007 game when former Alabama player Siren Stacy was involved in a deadly accident where his wife and 4 kids died several days before the game.

Something that actually has something to do with our own university?

In 2016, there were 1,089 people killed in car crashes in Alabama. There were 948 in 2017. So why are we singling out this one Auburn fan?

Siran Stacey played football at Alabama. Tammy called into Finebaum.

It's really sad what happened, but not exactly the same thing.

I remember a bunch of your fans making fun of it.

Yes before the 2008 Iron Bowl. It was one the best moments I've ever seen in that stadium.

Yes. And he was the honorary captain for the 2008 Iron Bowl.

Sorry didn’t mean it as the same thing or that Tammy is of the same status, just that it wouldn’t be unprecedented.

I can’t stand any of the Finebaum callers and think they give all of our schools a bad look but would not wish what happened to her and her family on anyone.

And to the idiot who posted after you, that’s just another Bama myth. I was at the stadium that day and it was dead silent during the moment and a lot of people had dust in their eyes.

She has something to do with Auburn who is a participant in the game Saturday.

A lot of people know of the accident just because of the pf show.

She died less than a week ago?

Look, I know its Auburn hate week and all that but it would be a noble gesture by the university and a very decent thing to do imo.

I dont think it has anything to do with Auburn, I'm just not sure it's something we should do at the stadium.

A lot of fans die, can't exactly do a thing before games for all of them, you know?
