Undefeated as a QB his freshman and sophomore years. Overrated as frick.

Not shitting on Trevor but Manziel won a pile of games and a Heisman, and was a TERRIBLE QB.

Let's compare Dorsey, Lawrence and Tagovailoa:

Ken Dorsey threw for 9,500 yards in 4 years (41 starts) with 86 Tds and 28 Ints. that is 231 yards per game, 2.09 tds per game and 0.68 ints per game

Trevor Lawrence has thrown for 6,700 yards in 2 years(29 starts) with 66 tds and 12 ints. That is 231 yards per game, 2.27 tds per game and 0.41 ints per game.

Tua has thrown for 7,400 yards in 3 years (32 starts) with 87 tds and 11 ints. That is 231 yards per game, 2.7 tds per game and 0.34 ints per game.

Now do Joe

Manziel was a great college QB. His play style was way too erratic for the NFL. That and he had issues.

Anybody that has followed football knows what it takes to go undefeated. You must win when you're not playing well..check you must have some luck, get past upset Sat. it's not easy to do even when you're real good. LSU is one of the only teams I remember not having a bad game...I mean like ...in history. Great team

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills or something. Go back and watch his biggest game ever against Bama last year without the crimson-hating goggles on. Most of those balls were 50/50 and just fantastic plays by the receivers or busted coverages. I’ve never seen him slice up a defense with arm talent and football IQ. Everything is a prayer with him and Burrow is exponentially better.
ETA: Tua is better too, the NC game did not end him. He had one bad game where he still threw for 300 but the media shite on him to boost Lawrence the way they will Burrow if LSU loses.

You would be a Trevor groupie if he played in the SEC. that's how SEC bias works.

none of the big catches in that game were 50-50 balls. lol

throwing it up for a great WR to make a play is the strategy. it obviously was a good strategy.

If it didn't happen in the Sec it must not be real. That's the mindset that some people have. I didn't say all SEC fans because I've met a lot over the years that give credit where credit is due and acknowledge greatness when they see it no matter what conference or team you play for. If you good you good is the mantra I go by. But I've met alot of SEC fans that try to downgrade anything someone else does outside of the Sec as if it can't be real.

Alabama had a great team last last year and no one gave Clemson a chance because of Alabama reputation (well earned) and the fact that they play in the Sec. Well Clemson was undefeated too and beat them them like they stole something and some Alabama and SEC fans are still making excuses other than to simply say Clemson was the better team. I heard the same thing from some fans when they tried to downgrade 2013 Fsu and say they can never beat the best of the Sec in the Auburn Tigers.

Well Trevor Lawrence is legit and Clemson is legit and you will find out soon enough.

Ok dude. You also said Tua was going to shred the Clemson D. Jalen Hurts was on the sidelines giggling at the passes Trevor was making. My favorite part of the sky cam broadcast.

Well you’re an idiot. He is the best qb prospect we’ve seen since Peyton.

We were not very good against Auburn, tbh. If they had a halfway competent QB that game easily could have ended different,

He did have two interceptions against the best defense he's faced this year, Ohio St.

You are correct. Trans-Law is talented, is mobile and can make all the throws, but he can’t sit in the pocket and read a defense and pick them apart like a Burrow or even Tua can.

Burrow can read a defense...Tua...not so much (refer
To last years NC game as exhibit A).

I am usually the last one to defend anything Bama, but how unfair of comparisons are those? Tua didn’t play his freshman year but like 1 game.

Joe, 27 starts - 8102 yrds 71 tds, 11 ints.... 300.07, 2.63, .40

This year 372, 3.92, .42

Gimme Joe, lol

Lawrence is a very good pro prospect as he has all the measurables, but he really hasn’t been some transcendent college QB. Their team is just that good right now. I haven’t seen him operAte at the staggering level of Joe Burrow (2019), Tua, Manziel, Cam, or Baker Mayfield in recent years

Am I missing something or is there no way Tua has started 32 games. He didn’t start any his freshman year right? Then 15 games last year and like 7 or so this year? How is that 32?

You don’t understand football then. Lawrence at LSU would have even more ridiculous numbers

I kept wondering when Burrow’s performance would suffer in a game and for whatever reason. His consistency was impressive more than all the stats. He never seemed rustled or out of sorts. Always cool, controlled, in command, and decisive. It is the most impressive thing about him.
