I keep hearing that yall shut him down in the 4th but 3 of his more impressive plays came in the 4th. The 2 plays where you stopped him for a loss had nothing to do with Trent, both times you had blitzes that werent picked up and they had him before he had the ball. You cant make moves to make the defense miss until after you have the ball, otherwise you fumble. Then 2 of the plays where he was stopped for very short were plays where only 1 or 2 yards were needed for the first down, which he got. Those plays were designed to be short gains.

So no, you did not shut Trent down in the 4th quarter. He had marginally less success in that quarter than he had the rest of the game. Sorry but the truth is the truth.

oh, so Baylor is undefeated? Who knew??

In the biggest game of the season, RGIII came through. Led his team down to the win. Richardson did not.

AJ threw a rocket from a couple yards away. No touch on it whatsoever.

Trent has decent hands for a RB...better than most...but damn he's not an elite WR.

Ditto for the 2nd pass. He's a RB. He ran his route fine. He was lead incorrectly.

lol at the notion that he "quit" or it's somehow his fault.

Your argument still sucks because Baylor has lost multiple games. And you are acting like Trent fumbled or something. He could not catch a bad pass. Had nothing to do with him "not coming through".

He didn't quit, he just ran into a brick wall that was reinforced with 200 lb LB's and Nickle backs made of titanium that hit like Ray lewis.

Quit throwing your QB under the bus for Richardson's drops. The screen pass was there, Richardson was more worried about what move he was about to make than catching the ball.

And the fade route, that's what a fade is, essentially. The QB puts the ball up in an area where the WR is the only one who can adjust to the pass. Richardson did not.

First pass that went through Trent's hands into his breast plate was a horribly made pass?

The fact he didn't adjust to the pass on the fade route, while being wide open and a clear shot at the endzone is on the QB only?

Face it, he blew it.

First pass that was thrown like a bullet from about 4 feet away was a horribly made pass.

The facts that he had a hard time adjusting to a pass that was thrown to his wrong shoulder, he is short, and not a receiver while having a DB 1 step behind him breathing down his neck.

Face it, you're a fricking idiot.

You aren't very smart, are you?

Never mind, I get it. Props to you sir, your bait was nigh unrecognizable.

P.S. take this opportunity to back out of your ridiculous arguments while you have an excuse so you dont look like the dumbest football fan alive.

kept him under a 100 yards rushing. We stopped him pretty much every way in the 4th qtr especially with 6 mins to go.

You really didnt. Go back and watch the video. He had 3 great, long distance plays in the 4th, plus the 2 short first down plays that he would not be denied, and several midrange yardage plays. Having 2 plays where our offense didnt pick up your blitzes and they got to Trent before he was done with his handoff has nothing to do with Trent. His ability to make defenders miss can only begin AFTER he recieves the ball.
Those 2 plays were GREAT defense, and they blew our offense up quite effectively, but Trent was a non-factor one way or the other in those plays. He was a sitting duck with no way of effecting the play at all.

good point. If I had a Heisman vote, I would vote Trent. He is so valuable to Bama granted Luck and the rest of the other qbs in the race are too.

Actually we did. He was stopped behind the line more than he crossed. One long run is all that separates him from having negative yards in the 4th.

I agree. If you watch the replay especially with about 5:20 left, we were stuffing richardson.

Trent never quit. Your OL quit. They had enough of LSUs defense and they made it really easy to get into the backfield.

good point bmy. Richardson was getting hit in the backfield about the time he was getting the ball.

I was cheering you guys on brother.

Trent is a great running back.

LSU has a great defense.

Nothing left for me to argue about.

Don't know why a Bama fan would post the video and not think LSU fans would not argue the defense did a good job against him. Yes he had a ton of receiving yards that made his overall numbers look great. Yes, LSU's defense did shut down Bama's running game too.

I expect Saban bitched to his assistants more about the running game blocking more than anything else after the game.

I expect Myles asked Coach Chavis and Coach Cooper to shore up the pass defense against the backs coming out in the flat and across the middle.

These were two of the respective team's biggest problem areas in the November 5th game.
