But it said that they went to the police after it happened. If there was even a suspicion that Trent ordered their assault, the police would've pulled him in for questioning at the very least.

Pell grants on top on scholarships. Tons of athletes do it, actually over 50% of the players on FBS teams receives grant money at an average of over 4400 dollars per year.
Easily enough to buy used cars that look "nice" or cheap 100 dollar suits like Tom Albetar sells.
