That's retarded. If he made the argument that A&M might win an 8 team playoff, well that's one thing, but no 2 loss team should ever be ranked #1

I don't see how anyone can argue that Texas A&M or LSU should be ranked above Florida. Florida has a better record against a comparable schedule, and beat both of them.

this is a stupid premise because you play 12 games and just deciding who is best based on the last couple is useless. Every team goes thru ups and downs.
But for the record, I'm honestly surprised people actually share your opinion on LSU. I get the LSU homers do, but just based on recent games, A&M is well ahead of LSU.
Let's ignore LSU struggling with OM because I think OM is a lot better than record. The previous two weeks are what LSU homers are basing their opinion that they are playing better than anyone. But A&M played the exact same two teams the same two weeks. Results:
A&M 38 MSU 13
Bama 21 LSU 17
A&M 29 Bama 24
LSU 37 MSU 17
Add in the fact that LSU played both at home and A&M played both on the road and the underlying stats (yardage etc) all are more favorable to A&M. If we're basing it off the last few weeks, there is really nothing in LSU's favor over A&M.
