The offense did everything required of it. The defense did not hold up their end of the bargain. Pretty simple.

If there are 45 seconds left and your defense can’t make a stop and leaves you with an 80 yard drive to win, is that the offenses fault? Especially if they’ve already put up 51 points? Don’t be dense.

If the offense cant score, its their fault.
In 2012:
Vols had 3 drives to tie the game vs UGA.
Vols had 3 drives to extend the lead vs Mizzou.
Vols had 2 drives to tie to take the lead vs SC.
Vols had 6 drives to end the game vs UF.
Vols had many drives to score vs Vandy.
Vols offense failed each time, and thats as good as it got for Chaney at UT.
