Thats the biggest thing, not having a ton of returning players is pretty much an issue for almost every SEC team. I would be a lot more worried for us if basically everyone else didnt also basically blow up their roster

@ TCU (48%)
Houston (50%)
Penn State (59%)
Georgia Tech (60%)
Liberty (70%)
Ohio (70%)
Belmont (72%)
3 losses with that schedule would probably be disappointing, but it wouldn't be a disaster. Houston will be very solid again, Ohio/Liberty/Belmont are 3 of the best mid-majors in the country next year and TCU/Tech/Penn State are decent power teams away from home.
I know you guys know this, but Wade is very good at scheduling solid mid-majors. Every year you guys have 2-3 of those under the radar to non-basketball people mid-major opponents on your schedule that end up going 27-4 and beating somebody in the 1st round.

Ah, yea, that changes things a little bit
. The OOC schedule on his site is definitely still a work in progress. He has us playing South Alabama twice.

Yep, we have Liberty on there who won 23 games last year as well as LT who won 24 games and Belmont who won 26 games. He knows how to sneak in some quality win types without the name behind it really. However all the mid-majors we are playing either at home this season or in the case of LT a "neutral" site in LA that will be 90% LSU fans
In the past we've dropped some road mid-major games, like Saint Louis last year, VCU 2 years ago and Houston 3 years ago. The only home court mid-major we've lost to in the those 3 years was East Tennessee State in the 2019-20 season though who was definitely a very good team (finished 30-4) and was in the NCAAT if it had happened.

I think LSU will be solid again. It feels like the SEC has gotten a lot better collectively over the last few years. Honestly feels like any order is possible.

I am very pleased with the direction of the SEC as a whole in basketball. Hope to get 6 or so teams in the NCAA tournament. Gone are the days where the league barely got 2/3 teams in the tourney. Iron sharpens iron

We've owned UGA as of late in bball, so even though we suck, I will not predict losses to UGA. I'd go ahead and preemptively call that two Ls.
