Your fear is palpable and noted. Get used to Florida being in your head. Mullen’s in Kirby’s Head, too.

Seems like a good hire. I don’t think anyone is scared though. Kirby owns Mullen and Grantham is still the DC.

It's fricking January, yea I probably won't get a wink of sleep until October being scared shitless. It's probably time for therapy and such, thanks for the heads up.

We play in November this year

I’m just glad you can admit it.

An NFL DB coach with Florida roots -- both coaching at Florida and going to Lakeland (a recruiting hotbed); it was an incredible hire.

Crazy how Kirby steals our CB coach only for us to hire one much better and you guys were talking about 'checkers and chess'.

Warren is from ATL, ive heard that is somewhat of a recruiting hotbed

I do agree however it was an incredible hire, I think it worked out for both teams. Kirby had seemed to have his mind made up on Warren, considering he didn't even offer Raymond the job. So it looks like it worked out for both programs

UGA promoting a DC from within and us landing a legit DL coach will be the cherries on top of this coaching carousel.

Very Good hire!

Very strong coach with some good recruiting connections!

UGA paid Warren 800k as well. High amount for a DB coach that wasn't high performing either of the past two years. He wasn't bad here but no one considered the hire really strong last year.

This is complete conjecture that I have only seen posted on Florida boards. The salary details have not been released yet but I would be shocked if it is that high.

The guy the Redskins fired earlier this month?

You have no clue what you are talking about. As a Redskins fan, I think this is a HUGE loss. He wasn't fired. He left.

Georgia fans care nothing for your facts. They stole our highly touted cornerback coach, that’s all they want to know. As untrue as that is. It will be even more funny when he whiffs on Elam.

Exactly, when we hired him last year all I could think about was our Hail Mary vs Tennessee and how his prevent defense was completely out of position.

Let’s see a link to that 800k.

Your pass defense was better than your run defense.

Why is this untrue? I am confused.

While you are probably correct, there are reports out there that he was fired that came from Redskin fan sites, so it's easy to see where his confusion came in.

Hogs Haven

I mean some of you guys act like he just made this up or is trolling you. He could be trolling you, I don't know. But to act like he made it up is kind of dumb, too.

I'm sure he will do a great job for you and it's easy to see why y'all are excited.

Because he’s the definition of average. He also has no idea how to coach a DB, to play press coverage. You’ll find that out soon though, I’m sure he’ll get Tyson just right.
