is there an appy state fan bagging on our heisman watch tailback .... ..we are very deep yes...maybe not deep as far as sets of legs at running back but talent...yes we have more..sorry...

Keiland Williams is the best back in the SEC. You and everyone else will see this by midseason. Plus, he's got 2 other studs backing him up, one of them a future NFL starter in his own right.

To say that uga is clearly better than lsu at tailback is blind homerism. Then again, uga is the posterchild for blind homerism, especially regarding our game on Oct. 25th.

Your fan's mouths are writing a lot of checks your team can't cash.

His stats are nothing short of extremly average. I too do not get the whole Heisman-hype he is getting.

YR CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT RAT
2006 135 256 1749 52.7 6.83 53 7 13 108.99
2007 194 348 2523 55.7 7.25 84 19 10 128.92

Is he really getting any? If so, I certainly agree its undeserved, but likewise I think the "he sucks" comments are.
-He was 4th in the SEC in Pass Efficency last year..behind 2 Seniors (Ainge/Woodson) and the Heisman winner.
-He's a True Junior who has played behind a patchwork OL for 2 years. He's gotten steadily better and I see no reason to think he won't continue to.
-He's 19-4 as a starter. How many kids start at QB as True Freshman in this conference? How do they usually do?
-I think he's the second best QB in the SEC, but Heisman...not sure about that.

when the heck has he been mentioned in serious Heisman discussions?

i mean i think his name is out there because of what we are supposed to have this year and he is the QB of that team, so, of course he is going to have some hype

but the only guy i have heard really mentioned as a "heisman contender" is Moreno.

I can't remember where I saw the article about him being mentioned in the pre-Heisman list. I will try and find it.

I never said he sucked...I think he is primed to have a great year.

I don't think he was cause he followed it up with this:

Plus, he's got 2 other studs backing him up, one of them a future NFL starter in his own right.

Now he's projecting a RB to NFL starter based on...based on....help me out here? But it's other fans that are delusional homers..according to KennesawTiger. LSU has some fine young RBs...lets see how they do before awarding them a signing bonus and starting them against the NY Giants.

Can't help you. Williams will be running behind probably the best o-line in the SEC. We will see where he eventually goes in the draft. Moreno and Harvin are probably backs you would rather have on your team and I am gonna say Lester and Fannin are just as good too. We will see what Lester does in his first full season as a starting tb (even though he will share carries with Tate).

Stafford tends to throw off the back foot too much, not enough touch, throws too hard on short patterns His Td/Int ratio is 26/23 and a career completion pctg of 56%. He has a lot of room to improve.

BS, Mikey Henderson bailed his arse out on the streak route on the 2nd clip. He threw that right at the Florida DB and Henderson made a hell of an adjustment to get over the top and save the play. Hell, the announcers said Henderson was 5'9", I'm pretty sure you don't want to underthrow a receiver that's shorter than the DB he's being guarded by.
