The same thing was said about 2009. The same thing will be said about 2011, and so on.

Keep defending him. We don't care. We want him to stay at LSU. It would absolutely suck if y'all had a coach worth a damn.

LSU has won 9 games and is on its way to ANOTHER 10 win season.

In 5 years everyones is going to be talking about Kiffin and his beastly coaching abilities. At which time Pete Carol resigns Kiffin heads west and Manning takes his place as sherpa/pope/president/ leader of the volnation and we go on an unprecedented run.

Rich Brooks is the best coach in the SEC. ETA: not counting nick saban
He turns a team that finishes in the mid 50's in recruiting every year into a bowl team. Every year.

There's 592 bowl games. I could coach a team to a bowl game.

Saban is the best coach in CFB. He could coach at any school he chose.

I would consider what Mullen did at MSU extremely impressive from a coaching standpoint and would consider him as 2nd best.

To the poster who claims Nutt has proven to be a better coach than Miles.

There are many parts to being a college football coach. Clock management is a part but not a HUGE part.

Clock management is a huge part. It costs teams games constantly. It cost you the Ole Miss game. It cost Gary Kubiak about 86 losses here in Houston.

I realize now that you dont keep up with LSU football much.

Lee was passing the ball often on third and long. He had his confidence shot and they weren't relying on the run. They did a lot of things that didn't help Lee. Saban didn't let JPW lose the game for us. Miles would put the ball in Lee's hands to win. They were running all over Bama 2 years ago but they would got away from the run and let Lee pass deep, even on obvious pass situations where the defense was keyed in on him.

99% of 3rd and long plays are passing plays so i'm not really getting what your point is here.

I hate to say it because im not the type to talk bad about players but i just dont think Lee is an SEC QB. Some players just dont pan out and it makes it worse when that player is a QB.

That would be Crowton, not Les...other than that i completely agree.

1 crystal ball at LSU<2 SECCG appearances at Arkansas.

There are plenty of coaches that could have won a national championship with the LSU program that Saban built.
It takes a true winner to wreck that sportscar.
Keep defending Les.
I want him at LSU for as long as we can have him.
Our coach has won three in a row on him at Arkansas (including the year that Les won the NC) and Ole Miss.
Even in Les Miles's best year, HDN>Les Miles.
nuff said.

Holy shite..

How 'bout 2 SECCG appearances, an SEC championship, a NC, about to be 4 (out of 5) 10 win seasons and 5-0 in bowl games? Is that still < Nutts awesome 2 SECCG appearances at Arky?

I give up.

I don't know why I argue this anyways.
I want LSU fans to think Miles is better than he is.
I want all the sec fans to have a low opinion of Nutt.

You win. Enjoy your next NC with Les Miles.

FYI Alabama has more 10 win seasons post Bear Bryant than LSU has in it's entire history.

The reason you shouldn't make the argument about HDN is you don't have objective evidence to prove it, as documented by the numbers posted.

You talk about the talent Miles had? Did you see the talent HDN had with mcfadden and Jones in the backfield. Thay should not have lost a game, much less 5.

And what about this year? On July 22 of this year, you posted that this Ole Miss team was the most talented team to ever wear an OM uniform. 4 losses. Using your own words, how can you now defend Nutt?

But keep believing HDN is a great coach. We want him to stay at OM.
