You gotta know about SEC baseball and its history to give Mississippi State its props. It’s not just the title, CWS appearances, attendance records, success over multiple coache, MLB players but it’s also about what they did to help build SEC baseball’s foundation.

No doubt, LSU and TX belong at the top but State’s historical relevance and CWS appearances and one title make them more than most understand.

Are they elite? Maybe not, but don’t tell their fans that. They will fight you over such things.

Having said that, States future just got a bit brighter. You just wait until next year! I am half kidding, State just made a helluva hire and I fully expect them to be a contender for the foreseeable future.

And TN? One great coach does not make a program, it would help if some fans showed up to games.

Texas is a top 2-3 program in the SEC and it isn’t close we are a top 3 program and it isn’t debatable.

Tenn your win last year was great but the fact OP says all time tier and puts Tenn ahead of Texas is one of the stupidest posts on the Rant and that’s saying something

What an awful troll

If there’s only two at the top tier (which there isn’t) it’s LSU and Texas

Vandy is much more the Standard than Tennessee. It’s no argument.

The thread is all time tiers. You can’t be at the top without a title.

Arky is clearly a top program currently though.

And before anybody comes at me for slotting Tennessee in the standard, remember Vitello and the Vols reshaped baseball.

And DVH reshaped Vitello’s a-hole in the super regional, and Arky is better than good.

lol Oklahoma has the 2nd best sec basketball history next to Kentucky. They also own Texas in basketball in every way.

We’re talking baseball, idiot.

And you’re still not even correct. You’ve never even won an NC in basketball.

Alabama also holds the head to head series record against LSU. Just like every other major college sport.

Where do I find the baseball head to head records? We really to get ahead of Bama on that sport.

Pretty much except I'd say Tenner is an A Tier as of now.
Now, which programs have the best chance of moving from B to A and from C to B??
And what teams could move down? I could see State slipping to B Tier.
Can anyone join Texas and LSU as elites?
