I will say that he only really threw one INT that game, the first one was on the WR.

That first INT was 100% on AJ. He thought it was Cover 2 and it was robber. The safety wasn't sprinting to get in position to rock that guy and knock the ball. He was waiting for the receiver to come to him. 100% AJ.

Including Alabama? ;)

Well that depends. The reason I say some schools is because some had LTs who were really good, but had been in the system for quite some time. CyKo was a first year starter last year, so it isn't like he had been our guy on the blindside for multiple years, so yeah probably. Though that said, I still think CyKo ends up jumping Jake by the time the draft rolls around, but that's no knock on Jake, it's just CyKo exploding even more.

Yup, it was a fantastic call from Coach Snyder

Maybe it's just me, but when I played (lol high school ball) if I made a stupid throw and the guys knew they didn't have a chance, they knock that shite to the ground. I'd say 50/50, from my PoV.

The other one though, ugh, I know he didn't pick his man, but AJ should have just tried to leap for it. As long as he doesn't fumble we've got a chance to force a Safety if he doesn't get a TD, though it would have been tough to get it if you ran to the outside or rolled JFF out. Would've needed something right up the middle to Jesse/Nico/Trey.

I stated earlier in this thread that this past Thursday on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, Chris Low with ESPN was asked to rank the WR in the SEC. He stated Cooper was #1 and no one else was close, he they said that Matthews and Evans were 2.a and 2.b and that both would be drafted in the first or second round next year. He then said, that shows you how good Cooper is.

While not unreasonable, and I don't mean to discredit him, he's just a blogger. There have to be better sources.

He's already jumped him on ESPN's latest draft board.

Dude, Chris Low has been a respected writer for a long long time. He's not just some blogger (everyone who writes now also has a blog). He's also a UT guy so he has no skin in the game.

Nice, buuuuuut it is McShay. Either way, right now arguing about it is pointless, neither side would cave, all I'll say is that I believe CyKo will be above Jake come draft day.

Don't try to make it a flame, most reasonable people agree. CyKo's athleticism will have scouts drooling.

As a guy that has covered Bama and Nick Saban much longer than he has A&M... I still think there is bias.

Then everyone is biased.

As far as TOP QB, WR, and RB combos...you still would go with Bama, right, TeLeFaWx? At the end of the day, AJ, Cooper, and Yeldon are probably the safest bet.

I actually think Mariota is going to blow the roof off next season. I wouldn't be surprised with a 75 completion percentage. So, we can end the debate on best qb .

Where were Barrett Jones and Luke Joeckel last year at this time on that same board? Overrating Bama an underrating others isn't uncommon.

But why not? As of right now it is literally AJ/Yeldon/Cooper vs JFF/Malena/Evans.

JFF > AJ

Yeldon >> Malena

Coop > Evans

Advantage Bama.

Interesting. Yeldon is clearly the better rb of the two, I will give the scratch on Evans vs Cooper (although Cooper certainly deserves consideration with a nudge), so you are pinning this on Manziel being that much better than AJ.

See, this was a good discussion. Don't start playing the overrating Bama and underrating others card.

He had Joeckel well above Barrett (but Barrett was projected higher than he ended up going).
