I will never be impressed with a mascot that's just a fricking dog. Mike and Tusk are by far the coolest mascots in the SEC.

That collie is ugly. Smokey is though. It's hard not to love a good coonhound. Mike the Tiger is obviously the most badass mascot.

I think it's time the Rebearsharks got a live mascot: a shark tank lining the student section, a live grizzly bear, a senile old man dressed like the Colonel yelling at the opponents to quit "hot dogging it" or ya know, a black lab or something.

Tusk is just a nuisance animal, belongs on a fricking sandwich.

Smokey is #1 because of this:

A natural habitat with a huge man cave, a pool, endless steak. Oh he's living better than most tigers.

And why is Uga in Savannah and not Athens? Some mascot.

Technically , UGA is a family pet of the Seilers. HE is just on loan / borrowed by the University for UGA games.

Mike is the only correct answer. It is a fricking live tiger.

I hope A&M gives serious thought to purchasing Mike once LSU closes down.

You have to admit that a shark tank lining the student section a la the fish tank at the Marlins' Stadium would put us at the top.

I guess I don't blame him for being too embarrassed to actually sport an Ole Miss flair.
