Vanderbilt, Georgia, Arkansas and Mississippi State have clinched the top four seeds in the SEC Baseball Tournament. Here's the lowdown:
Division Races
Vanderbilt will clinch the SEC East with a win or a Georgia loss. Georgia will need to win two and have Vanderbilt lose two to win a share of the SEC East title, but they own the tiebreaker over Vanderbilt, so they would receive the higher seed.
Similarly, Arkansas can clinch the SEC West with a win or a MSU loss. Arkansas owns the tiebreaker over MSU, so MSU actually needs two wins and two Arkansas losses to win the West.
Conference Race
Vanderbilt holds a one game lead and the tiebreaker over Arkansas, so a win or an Arkansas loss will give the Commodores the SEC Championship.
Arkansas can win the SEC title with two wins and two Vanderbilt losses in the final two games.
Georgia can win a share of the SEC title with two wins, two Vanderbilt losses and one loss by both Arkansas and MSU. Georgia cannot win an outright title, but they did not play Arkansas so it would be a true split.
MSU can win a share of the SEC title with two wins, one Arkansas loss, and two Vanderbilt losses. MSU cannot win an outright title, but they did not play Vanderbilt, so it would be a true split.

Looks like LSU, Ole Miss, and A&M will fill in 5-7.
Missouri, Tennessee, and Auburn are log jammed at 8-10.
Florida’s sitting alone at 11.
Kentucky, Alabama, South Carolina battling for the 12.

At least it'll be a short drive back down 280 for AU.

Vandy did not play MSU, not the other way around.
we offered, but Vandy declined because we would not guarantee the safety of the whistlers.

Arkansas is fricked if they're depending on SC for a win over State this year.

Don’t worry we’re not I think every hog will be pretty satisfied with the reg season outcome regardless of the final scores of the everyone else’s next two games.

Thanks for the breakdown. Remember a few years ago when State won the regular season conference title? No, I didn’t think so. Who even won it last year? Who cares? Bring on regionals already.

A fantastic slate.
It’s going to come down to the luck of Super Regional pairings; but one of those squads (Vandy, UGA, Ark, State) will leave Omaha as champions.

If I were the whistlers I would not show my face in Starkville in the upcoming years. We don’t like them here either.
