Bennie Snell gonna run all over the SEC this year. Might as well get out of his way now.

May as well just change the names to all the boards to " All things Bama " and be done with it

What is this even supposed to mean?

When he was healthy, he was undoubtedly the best back in the conference. In the nation, actually. Cook was the only other one with a legitimate argument.

Agree. He's gonna be one of those "Who the hell is he and where the hell did he come from" backs.

I'm not sure but there was a thread last pre-season of the best backs in the SEC and when I suggested that at least one Alabama back would be among the best, not a few laughed it off. Had Harris got most of the carries he would easily have qualified for the list, but Scarbrough was the feature guy that last half of the season, and also qualifies as among the best in the SEC. The only guy I might take before Scarbrough would be the guy at LSU.

Fournette also averaged almost a yard better per carry than Pettway that season. Spoiler alert... Fournette averaged 6.5 YPC in 2015 AND 2016- with a bum ankle in 2016, he averaged the same YPC he did in 2015 during his 2000 yard season

Anyone who leaves the league's leading rusher out of the top 5 shouldn't be talking sports and should be banned from the site.

we have to define what "top" means. does it mean most yards. does it mean who will have the highest draft grade?

if most yards i would say

1. RW3
2. Crockett
3. Guice
4. Pettway
5. Harris (pick one)

How in the world is 6.5 "almost a yard better" than 5.9?

I gave you Pettway's ypg from the only 7 games he was healthy. Seems odd to try to include his ypc from the 2 games he played injured. So guess what Pettway's ypc is from the 7 healthy games before injury? 6.5

Healthy Pettway stacks up to Fournette in every statistical measure. You can't twist facts, so DWI

Not having rawleigh Williams in your top 5 running backs in the sec just shows your lack of football knowledge

My top 5 is talent based, although he could make an argument to take Chubbs spot.

You must admit though, it's easy to forget somebody that only had 22 yards and 1.7 ypc against your team.

Okay so a healthy Pettway can match an injured Fournette is what that says. That sounds about right

He's talking very specifically about Fournette in 2015.

Geez,it's like they don't even attempt to teach you to read beyond a 3rd grade level in Louisiana

Guice
Williams
Pettway
Chubb
Snell Jr.

In no particular order.

Scarbrough & Michel are nipping at the heels of all 5.
