I might be being a homer, but I wouldnt be surprised if the rebs have the best D in the west.

With what Bama is having to replace, LSU's front seven issues and Auburn/Arky not having defenses, it wouldnt surprise me if the two MS have the two best D's.

Bama will probably end up with the best numbers due to a great ball control offense, but Im not sure that they will have the best D.

I think you may be surprised with our defense this year. Right now, it's all talk but trust me, they are going to be a different unit this year.

This thread won't end well. I will go ahead and call it. Each team(except Arky, but maybe some Arky fans) will get pissed and say that their D will be the best.

if we played a bama style d then we might have the best d. i like what chavis has done in fixing the miles buddy disaster but im not a huge fan of the scheme. its to bend but dont break for my liking

No, didn't claim that we would either. We did rough up Arky though

Ole Miss is supposed to have a good D-Line????

They sure looked pretty weak vs Mississippi State in the EGG Bowl letting Relf and Dixon both rush for over 100yds.

LSU because of him. But they are likely to be on the field way to long if the offense doesn't improve.

I like State's chances(of course I do). I like what I've seen from our new coordinator.

State is going to have a good dline?

How many yards did they give up to Auburn last year?

Stop being an idiot and GTFO

No one plays more "ball control" than Nutt. If Bama has better numbers, it won't be because of their offense. It's because they were better.

MSU fans here love to hijack threads for the purpose of talking about their teams because no one else cares or brings them up.

we threw the ball 70% of the time last year. Thats not ball control. I agree that we will run the ball more this year, but not as much or as well as bama. Just because Nutt will try to have a ball control offense doesnt mean it will be anywhere as good as bama's

We have the athletes, but losing as much as we did last year scares me. I think we will be okay, but no where near as good as last year of course.
