13-7 as a starter.

Compare that to 43-5-1 (Pullig). Plus Corey Pullig is currently a Marine Officer (I think Major now)

Other than that....
I'm sure other Mizzou people or even other SEC people might know some others before them.

Bart Starr

Didn't have a great college career, hurt during junior season and Ears Whitworth, the worse coach in Alabama history, became Starr's coach his senior season, and rarely played him.

But pro....

Jasharkus Hustle
Y.A. Tittle
Bert Jones
Tommy Hodson
Rohan Davey

Hard list to Argue, but I would put Wickersham over Davey

Wickersham is ranked second all time in school history for passing yards

Wasn't much of a scrambler, but would light it up through the Air

Why Stewart? The '98 Big XII C-ship? I mean, he was solid, but he lost the starter job three times in four years. He wouldn't have even played in St. Louis if McCown hadn't gotten hurt.

To have Branndon Stewart mentioned more times on this thread than the A&M career passing yardage, total offense, and passing touchdown leader is a bit of a joke.

JaMarcus not getting a Heisman invite in 2006 was a fricking joke.

The argument is over number 5. Tannehill, Jerrod Johnson, Reggie McNeal, Stephen McGee all could be argued. Ed Hargett as well as some have said. What'd more important, championships or stats?

In 6 or 7 years the list will be

1. Kyler Murray
2. Johnny Manziel
3. Corey Pullig
4. Bucky Richardson
5. Kevin Murray

We won't have to argue about #5 anymore.

Branndon Stewart, although a Big XII champ leading a comeback was great, is also the architect of the USL loss (5 INTs and 2 pick 6s i think) and spells his name with too many n's.

says a lot about your program to say that a kid that is a sophomore in HS will be your best QB ever.

Late getting in but I've heard Jake Gibbs was almost as good as Archie. If he's not top 5 then he's number 6

LSU's top 5 is probably (in no order):

JaMarcus Russell
YA Tittle
Tommy Hodson
Bert Jones

Why is Bart Starr on this list? This is second time in 3 days a list such as this has been produced. Look at his career at Alabama.

Stewart had more wins as a starter than Jerrod Johnson, far fewer interceptions, and more championships.
