You think that Ole Miss would of gotten into playoff last year with 2 losses, one of which was to Memphis? I think that would of opened the door for Stanford or Ohio State to take the spot from the SEC.

Than the guy saying Bama would be in no matter what?

Yeah, no.

Because that ranking wouldn't have changed when Bama wasn't in the SEC title game, right?

So let me get this straight. Alabama made the BCSNCG in 2011 without winning the SEC, yet you think they would have been left out last year (when 4 teams make it) if Ole Miss had won the West?

Are you fricking retarded?

Since ypc seems to hurt DMac, may I submit Felix Jones and his 3,000 career rushing yards on 7.7 ypc?

8.7 his senior season.

5,000 all purpose yards and a 28 yard career kickoff average.

For comparisons sake, Reggie Bush average 7.3 ypc in his career and 22 yards per kickoff return.

Maybe, maybe not. Beating UF in a rematch may have been enough.

Either way Bama doesn't get in, like Juice was everyone to believe.

I think people are getting their years mixed up =)

Playoffs last year was:

Clemson vs Oklahoma, Bama vs Mich St.

If no 4th and 25, and Ole Miss wins SECCG (likely cause Fla was toast at this point), then for Bama to get an invite means one of these has to happen:

1) Committee picks Bama over SEC Champ Ole Miss which beat Bama hth

2) Committee picks Bama over Oklahoma, who also had 1 loss, was conference champ of a conference who "got left out" the year before.

3) Committee picks Bama over Mich St., with 1 loss, was conference champ, had wins over Oregon, OhioSt, Mich.

Again I think Bama was the best team last year. But I also think there was a very realistic chance they would not have had the opportunity to prove it without 4th and 25. As a consequence, Henry would not have gotten the Heisman (McCaffery would have), not hit 2000 yards, and in fact been 2nd in the SEC in yards.

Way more of a chance of my scenario than yours. You're original point was absurd, as pointed out by your fellow LSU fan.

You're using the very season that brought down the BCS as proof of why that scenario would happen again?

You seriously asking if I'm the retarded one?

No way Alabama gets in over a Big 12 Champion Oklahoma State in 2011 either right?

Come on kid. Alabama is fricking Alabama. They would have been in and you know it. Don't get the red arse over it.

Regardless of what system you are speaking of, the national draw of Alabama would have trumped anything standing in the way of keeping them out of the playoffs sans a second loss, which they didn't have.

I've provided proof why my scenario is likely. You've done nothing of the sort.

Move along bro. Your delusion has run its course in this thread.

A bigger draw than the defending national champion getting a rematch against the only team to beat them in 2015?

You Bama fans really are delusional as hell. It's hilarious.
