It's kind of funny, but at the same time, I certainly understand why AU fans would be pissed. However, the janitors are probably thanking the Bama fans. Hell, they probably paid them to do it.

Been a while since I've taken any form of biology (over 5 years ago in jr High), but it is fairly common knowledge that photosynthesis occurs in the leaves of the tree. I do not recall it occurring in any other part. It is currently winter and the tree has no leaves and therefore is currently not performing photosynthesis. If your description of how the poison works is accurate, then the tree should currently be unaffected.
Now, the poison may have lasting effects and cause problems when leaves do bud and it starts performing photosynthesis. I don't know.

More likely they are dying from all the toilet paper that has been thrown in them because we have kicked so much redneck trailer trash bama arse recently.
