Does this thread really need to be this long over a kid being arrested for failure to obey? Really?

Everyone loves news about the kings of the SEC. Good or bad....but yeah the rant is fricking awful.

Odd that he got charged with 'resisting arrest' rather than disorderly. Has anything new come out on this? Getting arrested that quickly usually points to a guy who won't be around very long. Kid needs to pull his head out of his arse before he gets into big time trouble.

He's not a kid. He's a dangerously out-of-control Scofflaw who threatens the delicate fabric of society. Now you lawless crowd-diving, tea-bagging, tree-poisoning Gump types might be okay with that, but don't whine to us because we hold ourselves to higher standards.

Well, it is only because Tony did not watch his orientation video yet. Jeremy Hill stylin, Nick Saban still lyin. Revised numbers for the Fulmer cup? Anyone? I know LSU has had it's problems, but this one is kind of fun to see some other team have the butthurt for the change, especially when many Alabama fans threw the recruitment of this guy in LSU's faces.
PSA from Nick Saban about Jeremy Hill

Just saying what goes around also boomerangs us all right back in our arse.

Now then, right back at ya

What caused the arrest, though? What are the details?

Thing is the typical sign of power tripping cop is to charge you with disorderly conduct because disorderly is one of those catch alls that is hard to defend against. You can get charged with disorderly for everything from being drunk in public to being to loud at your child's graduation (that happened btw) to asking an officer too many questions to damn near anything. Whenever that charge comes up, I roll my eyes. Because it's a rare day that disorderly means disorderly. Usually it means "the cop didn't like the cut of your jib" or was in a bad mood.

But resisting arrest is different. It's not the go-to power trip charge cops are so fond of.

According to Freud, rationalization can also lead to great denial of a problem which leads to the bigger problem of Jimmies being rustled.

I don't understand something about these charges.

How can Tony Brown be charged with charged with failure to obey and resisting arrest (Was it with or without violence) ,but not be charged with disorderly conduct or Disturbance of the peace because of the music?

With Lane Kiffin on staff the answer is probably 'no vote needed - I can personally vouch for his high character.'
