I don't know if that's how that works.
I really don't.

I was expecting it as I was watching it unfold. Would summarize this season well.

Would not have been any different than a fake FG.

That's how it works. We touched it becoming a live ball

I'm amazed every game how the players on the field don't know the rules.

Wouldn't that just be a touchback?
•A blocked field goal that crosses the line of scrimmage may be advanced only by the defense. If the ball is muffed or fumbled, however, it’s a free ball.

Think Leon Lett.
AU players touched it, creating a live ball. Therefore, Memphis could've recovered for the TD.

It was a touchback because we recovered it. If Memphis recovered it in the EZ after the block, its a TD.

Memphis' offense has been disappointing, but they also look nervous like they did early vs Ole Miss.
That was part of the reason why Ole Miss losing was so disappointing. They could have buried them early, instead they let Paxton Lynch get to where he was completely unconscious.

Wouldn't y'all describe Kerryon as your speed guy, not Jovon?

Yeah. I think AU is gonna do what LSU should have been doing last night and run, run, run.

Understood, watching this on mobile though an didn't catch that auburn had muffed. If only Memphis were to touch it after the block they couldn't advance, and touchback would be the ruling I'd think?
